From Tools to Practice: Solution-Focused Approaches in Counseling

Snapshots from Day 2 of the training “Social Coaching in Practice: Solution-Focused Tools for ProfilPASS-Counselors”, organized by EYCD, where participants were also certified.
Led by trainers Brigitte Bosche and Maike Ziemer, today’s session focused on applying practical tools that support a solution-oriented approach in counseling.
Participants explored how to use the Miracle Question to envision progress, practiced reframing techniques to shift perspectives, identified different client types and how they approach change, and reflected on the power of genuine recognition to build motivation.
The day ended with personal reflections on how these tools can be integrated into real-life counseling situations.
This training was implemented through the project “Empowerment of youth and vulnerable groups with the counselling process using the ProfilPASS Instrument and Social Coaching”, funded by GIZ.
